Development Team Crowned Hampshire Combination League Champions
Silverware for our Development team!
Our Development Team produced a superb performance to lift the Hampshire Combination League Cup, overcoming Laverstock & Ford in emphatic style with a 5–1 victory.
Despite falling behind just five minutes into the match, the squad showed outstanding composure and resilience. They responded with five unanswered goals, including doubles from Elliot Cresswell and Alfie Acklam, before captain Josh Stoodley added a confidently taken penalty to round off the scoring.
The result is a fitting reward for the commitment, quality and togetherness shown throughout the season. Under the excellent leadership of manager Jamie Hackett, the players and coaching staff have worked tirelessly to develop, improve and push standards — and this cup triumph is a testament to that effort.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved in this fantastic achievement. The future continues to look bright for our pathway, with 11 U18s featuring in the squad for the final.
